Victoria Reynolds

Victoria's process follows a specific formula: water-based pigments are mixed with sea or river water so that the work evolves from the landscape itself.

Collage may also be added in order to explore different qualities of surface, echoing the physicality of the environment.

At other times acrylic and oil paint are layered on canvas allowing impasto and glazing techniques to be exploited.

Ultimately it is about following a journey and only when the moment is captured can it be complete.
