Shaun Hall
Raku Ceramics

Shaun has been making work in raku since 1998. He graduated from Middlesex University in London and has exhibited around the country and abroad.

He makes wheel thrown work and slab and press moulded sculptural forms using lustre raku glazes and copper matt slip. Shaun is inspired by older more ancient pottery forms and artefacts and his sculptural work is informed by artists such as Barbara Hepworth and other modernists.

Each work is unique and the textured lustre glaze surfaces unrepeatable.

Shaun features in the recent book- “Contemporary Raku “published by Crowood Press alongside potters such as David Roberts, Tim Andrews, Patricia Shone and Stephen Murfitt.
