In January 2022 I started what I intend to be a year long project to paint ‘seasonally’ throughout the year.

I set myself some rules:

•    To only paint scenes that I had experienced.
•    To name each painting with the time and date.
•    To keep a painting diary and contribute, consider and reflect on the project every day.

This exhibition is a selection of the paintings from the first 8 months (Winter, Spring & Summer). I had no real expectations about the project but hoped that a style would emerge, and the paintings would reflect the changing seasons.
